Celebrate the 4th of July in Southport, NC
Visitors, come out and view the Classic Cars on July 4, 2019 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Bay Street in front of Fort Johnston.
The Cape Fear Cruisers Car Club sponsors the Shine and Show for your enjoyment.
The Shine and Show event has been part of the 4th of July celebration for many years.
Participants: If you want to cruise in with the group, we will meet at the Duke Energy parking lot on Hwy 133 between Dosher Cutoff and Rob Gandy Blvd. at 9:00 - 9:30 a.m..
A police escort will take us to Bay Street via Howe Street sometime before 10:00 a.m..
If you want to display your classic car or truck but do not want to cruise in, just show up after 10:30 a.m. at Atlantic and Bay Street. This is open to members and non-members. So, shine up the old classics and come on down to Southport.
You do not have to stay until 4 p.m., but it would be nice if you could.
